In this modern world, traditional gender roles are a thing of the past. Women are often the primary breadwinners of the household, they are graduating from college at a faster rate than men, and they are taking on leadership roles like never before.
But it’s not all rainbows and unicorns.
Maya Ezratti, CDO – Chief Dating Officer – of Rewarding Relationships, says that the same skills and opportunities that are helping women get ahead in the workplace may actually be sabotaging them in their love lives.
Maya believes that “The modern woman is strong, self-sufficient and independent – all qualities that help her find professional success, but that can prevent her from finding the love of her dreams.”
According to Maya, men and women are fundamentally different, and it’s the “softer side” of women that men fall in love with. Maya helps women nurture and embrace that softer side in order to meet, date and ultimately marry the man of their dreams. Her philosophy: that women can find more happiness and fulfillment in their romantic relationships once they recognize and understand that men and women seek …….and are fulfilled by different things.
Maya knows her topic all too intimately as she had her own awakening when her failed marriage, divorce and dating struggle made it clear that her strong personality and “can do” attitude were turning quality men off. Her ambition, success and drive in the workplace just didn’t translate seamlessly into dating and romance.
From that life-altering turning point, Maya made it her mission to learn how she and other women could still be strong, determined and professional, while at the same time maintaining and attracting ……. a sustaining and fulfilling romantic relationship. To that end, South Florida-based Ezratti trained and worked closely with Ellen Fein & Sherrie Schneider, authors of the New York Times Bestseller – The Rules Book – and went on to become not only a certified “Rules” Dating & Relationships Coach, but the #1 “Rules” Coach in the country.
