Beth Bernstein is an author, jewelry historian and a serial dater! She has been dating since she was sixteen, has had some serious long-term relationships, even lived with two of them, but has never been married!
As a writer, her articles on dating have appeared in many women’s magazines including MORE Magazine whose demographic is women over 40. When the MORE editors found Beth’s writing and personal style to be straightforward, heartfelt, and always with a sense of humor, she was assigned to write an article on her own experience of going on 22 dates with different men in two months!! After writing a few more stories, including one on her mixed feelings about her younger brother's having children first, MORE Magazine asked her to write another article about the not so newfangled ways of dating now, including speed dating, online dating, and high-priced matchmakers…. who first interview Beth, and then approved HER before she could interview them and be set up on dates through their “secret selection process.” Additional articles Beth has penned include where she “dated and rated” 10 most eligible bachelors…. not for their bank accounts but for their unique personalities and interesting lives.
Her memoir, "My Charmed Life: Rocky Romances, Precious Family Connections and Searching for A Band of Gold" relates the story of her relationships and her dating life from 1st grade into her 50s.
