BETH SOBOL, FOUNDER OF MIAMI FASHION WEEK,
STARTS COUNCIL OF INTERNATIONAL FASHION DESIGNERS,
HOSTS JUNE 17 WEBINAR ABOUT NEW VENTURE ESTABLISHING INTERNATIONAL DESIGNERS IN THE U.S.
Miami, June 11 — Universally acclaimed for unifying an organized group of American and international designers and manufacturers in 1999 which eventually evolved into one of the world’s premier fashion events, Miami Fashion Week, Beth Sobol is a fashion icon who is recognized throughout the world.
Through Beth’s guidance, Miami Fashion Week grew into a powerhouse stage for emerging and established design talent. Recognizing that it was time to move on to a new challenge, Sobol and financial partner Aaron Perry sold their interests in the organization in May, 2015 in order to focus on their current endeavor, the Council of International Fashion Designers, a business portal providing unparalleled access to information, databases of buyers and resources and guidelines on how to enter the American market.
Access to CIFD benefits will be accessible through a virtual online hub, www.CIFD.net , scheduled to go ‘live’ in July. In anticipation of the launch, an open invitation webinar is scheduled for June 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. EDT when Sobol will introduce the new organization, summarize features and services and conduct an open discussion with guests who may offer comments and suggestions about the type of additional programs and products the online hub should offer. Members of the CIFD Advisory Board, each selected for their international experience, will answer questions after the webinar including legal expert Bogdan Enica, Esq., financial professional Eric Gunther and Retail Strategist Mercedes Gonzalez. Prizes will be awarded to suggestions that are incorporated into the launch version of the new web site. Registration for the webinar is at http://www.sobolfashion.com/rsvp
With business and personal relationships built over decades and at the center of the fashion universe around the world, Sobol has unrivaled access to influencers, executives, vendors and decision-makers throughout North, South, Central America, the Caribbean, The Middle East, India and several countries across Europe and the rest of the world. The mission of the Council of International Fashion Designers is to enable talented international designers/brands to establish a business foothold in the United States for profitable growth. “The CIFD serves a unique purpose,” according to Aaron Perry. “We are a member supported organization committed to respond to their needs and to provide any assistance required to further their business objectives in the United States.” With Sobol’s professional network, CIFD members leapfrog over bureaucracy and red tape and are directed immediately to the resources and individuals best able to achieve member goals. “Knowing who’s who and having personal relationships in the fashion industry in the American market and abroad is a significant asset that I will put to full use in service of our members,” says Sobol.
