Sobol Listed Among Several Prominent CEOs and Executives
MIAMI – December 15, 2010 – Beth Sobol, President of Miami Fashion Week, has been named a 2011 Mover and Shaker by South Florida Business Leader Magazine. Sobol and the other designees will be honored at a ceremony January 13, 2011 and will be featured in the January issue of Business Leader magazine.
The Movers & Shakers Awards recognize up-and-coming business leaders in South Florida. Nominees must be either rising leaders within companies with more than 100 employees or executives leading rising companies with fewer than 100 employees. This year’s Movers & Shakers were chosen from a record number of nominations the editors said.
Sobol has earned several distinguished honors in 2010. She received the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce's "Entrepreneur of the Year Award;” a World Trade Center Miami International Women's Day Award; and a Miami Today Gold Medal Award. She was also named an influential leader in international business by Florida Trend magazine.
As an international fashion model for many of the world's top fashion houses in the U.S., Europe, South America and Far East, and a fashion show producer for over 25 years, Sobol's experience and dedication to producing highly professional fashion shows and special events is unsurpassed.
