On May 14th, Miami Fashion Week kicked off its first ever luxury resort wear collection showcases with a chic party at the Eden Roc Hotel on Miami Beach. Fashion designers, celebrities and international jet setters came out to celebrate Miami Fashion Week’s sweet sixteen.

“We are very excited to rebrand Miami Fashion Week and create a unique platform for designer resort collections. With the tropical setting directing our new vision, we’re thrilled that the cruise capital of the world will now officially host the unveiling of the latest and best in designer resort collections,” said Beth Sobol, Founder and President of Miami Fashion Week. “Fashion is a global language that transcends barriers, and as such MFW Resort 2014 invites all to enter the doors of the coveted fashion world.”

The runway show will showcase iconic fashion designers including aristocrat Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Custo Barcelona, Andres Sarda of Spain and American celebrity designer Sherri Hill. They are all ready to reveal their new 2015 resort collections along side established designers and emerging talents from across the globe.
